Can't login to ftp server?

I'm trying to log in via ftp to the webspace associated with my account.
I get:
Password:
530 Login incorrect.
Login failed.
I've tried logging in a lot of times now and I'm sure I'm using the same username and password as for the member centre. I've tried filezilla and the ftp binary shipped with my Linux distro.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Is the following correct
Account name - ftp://username@ftp.plus.net
Host  - ftp.plus.net
Login - username all in lower case I believe

Looks about right to me.
Can't login via epiphany either, same error code.

@richandsian, I can't login to your account either. I've reset your password and given things a kick from this end but that doesn't seem to have helped. Raise a support ticket and we'll get our Networks guys to take a look tomorrow.

No problem, must have taken a short while for my changes to propagate. Glad to hear it's working again anyway

i can't login into my webspace either
i get the same 530 problem
