Can't connect to wifi

A BT Openreach Technician came round at about 12 to activate my wifi the light on the Hub one is blue but when I try to connect to it it, it doesn't connect it just comes up with settings and advanced settings. The man said it would activate in 10mins-1hr but it still hasn't

Re: Can't connect to wifi

Sorry to hear you're not able to get online.

As per my response on your last thread, it can take anytime up to midnight for the service to go live. However, I've checked your order and it's showing as completed so I've manually activated your account now.

Let us know how you get on.

Re: Can't connect to wifi

Can you try connecting using yourusername@plusdsl.net and your account password?

Re: Can't connect to wifi

Fix

Can you try going through the steps below?

1) Enter 192.168.1.254 in your web browser
2) Click settings and then enter the router password (This can be found on the bottom of the router or on the card provided with the router)
3) Click on broadband and then click the disconnect button
4) Delete the username and replace it with yourusername@plusdsl.net and then enter your account password in the password field
5) Click connect and wait 2 minutes. You should then be able to get online

Re: Can't connect to wifi

Are you typing the address whilst connected to the WiFi or via a wired connection to the router?
