If there is an obviouse intermittent fault on my line and the Openreach Engineer does not find it first time round do I have to pay for the callout?

Hi Tony.
If there's an intermittent problem with your line and an engineer doesn't find a fault on the first call-out and the issue remains the same we wouldn't charge you for no-fault found. We'd likely need to arrange another engineer visit.
From looking through your account I think the next step is for us to arrange another engineer visit. Just so we can book the right type of engineer. Is there any noise on your phone line?
