@Baldrick1 I’ve managed to sort it out. Issue was because I was using my iPhone and the smart setup option wasn’t available. I’ve connected my laptop to the router and the smart setup option was available so I turned it off and then followed the rest of the steps and it is now working as it should. I’m hoping someone can help as I’m getting rather frustrated. I am attempting to set up a BT smart hub 2 with my plusnet account. I’ve done this successfully previously on a hub5 but this one doesn’t play ball. I’ve repeatedly done factory resets and changed the default address to my plusnet one. Plugged in the cable at the recommended point and it still flips back to the bt address. The only part of the instructions I can’t seem to complete is I don’t seem to have a smart setup option to disable on the router page. ... View more

Other than the hh5 what other routers can be used to replace the modem and wifi router. I'm fed up with a port being used for the modem as I have to keep swapping out cables as I have 4 that require Ethernet connection. I don't want to get a switch as that's yet another power socket needed. ... View more
