Flashed to 8.4.4.J and ran the commands still not working for me :( when I get on the router broadband connection is BrPPPoE_br connection info is bridge up for 12 mins with a green tick DSL connection also have a tick. Check connectivity only gives a tick to DSL. No light on internet which on the router itself which I think is correct. When I try logging in with dd wrt it just seems to try and connect and then goes back to saying disconnected Any other suggestions, been there nights think it might be time I buy a modem ... Ok cannot connect via win 7 laptop, connecting for ages and comes back with error 651. I've tried disabling the firewall as intrusion settings. Does it matter which port I use on the modem? Also on firmware version 10.2.2.B ... View more

Sorry to bump a old post, I have recently moved to PlusNet and am trying to get the router provided into bridge mode. I have followed all the options and It seemed to work, disabled wireless\dhcp and seems to have created the bridge when I logged back into the tg582n GUI. I am using a Cisco E4200 on dd wrt and select PPPoE for connection type and put in my user name and password but it does not connect. Any suggestions? is there any way I can test the router configuration from a computer to test if that's set correctly? ... View more
