Re: Upgrading firmware of Technicolor TG582n?

Right click the start button and select Control Panel

Change the view by to Small icons if it isn't already and select Network and Sharing Centre

Select Change adapter settings

Right click the Ethernet entry and select Properties

Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from the list and click Properties

Change as per my screen shot (8.8.8.8 is the Google DNS server) and OK

Re: Upgrading firmware of Technicolor TG582n?

Hi, thanks that seems to have done it. I've no idea what I've done but I can connect really quickly again. Chuffed to bits, cheers.  Cool

Re: Upgrading firmware of Technicolor TG582n?

I take it all back. It killed my ping and have to resort to auto detect. Connection still good though. I have absolutely no idea what's going on.

Re: Upgrading firmware of Technicolor TG582n?

Connecting and page loading still very fast after changing DNS to google then changing it back to auto detect after my ping was badly affected.. Can anyone shed any light on this?
