Vanishing green cabinets
Thanks to this thread I have discovered that our exchange (New Milton) is due to get FTTC in September 
I have found the cabinet (14) and there are trenches dug on the opposite side of the road for the new cab, no doubt because the power lines run down that side. Cab 13 already has its new companion cabinet installed alongside and cab 15 has a white spray painted rectangle on the ground beside it with 'CAB' written inside. So it seems that the work is well underway - could it be that the service may even come on stream before September or is that wild optimism?
