Does anyone have any experience of running a wireless network and a wireless audio visual sender/receiver in the same house?

The sender/receiver is the gadget that sends the TV picture from one set to another.

Concerned about interference as they both seem to operate on the 2.4GHz frequency??

thanks

From what a friend has said... you cannot use them at the same time.

Hi,

At home I use a Netgear DG834G and Phillips AV Sender kit in 2 bedrooms.

I had to play around with the channels to ensure no interferance.

I cant remember what the combination is, I'll check when I get home.

I can watch TV / DVD's transmitted around the house whilst connected wirelessly to the router without issue.

Some of the "generic" type kit may not give you many or any channel combinations though.

Excellent, Is all I can say. I have no complaints at all and have had the kit for about 2 years.

One thing I did forget about was that the only interferance i do get is when someone at home is using the Microwave. I then get a blue line running intermittantly up the screen. But that doesnt happen too often.

Buy one from Argos and you will have 16 days to try it out.
(Make sure they are not excluded from the 16 money back.)

Also ensure that there is 2 metres separation between the antenna.

Worth a try. As chilly says, you can always bring it back if it doesnt work. Nowt to lose there.

If it does work, let me know.
