Does anyone have experience of the Linksys WAG354G, especially on long lines? Also, can anyone tell me if the dmt tool can be used with it? I've not been able to find out which chipset it uses. I'm on a long line, 4.79 km actual length, and at present have 57 dB attenuation.
I've just ordered a Linksys WAG354G in case my present Netgear DG834G is faulty. I used to sync at 3500 - 4100 with a couple of evening resyncs until early September, when I suddenly started to get a lot of errors and resyncs becoming more frequent, so much so that eventually I had to have interleaving applied and the SNR margin raised. I still have a lot of CRC errors, but only used to get tens of them before September on Fast Path.
Hence buying another router from the PlusNet shop, because if it doesn't work on my line I can return it.
