BTVoyager 2100 - Congifuration Manager screen

Hi all,

I'm after a little advice/help!

I'm trying to set up my wireless broadband connection and experiencing a problem with my BTVoyager 2100. My adsl modem has the dsl light permenantly on (as it should) , my laptop (wireless adaptor) has detected the network/connection (as expected).

However, when I cannot get the (modem's) Configuration Manager screen to appear so that I can enter my plusnet broadband user name and password. i.e. I enter the supplied address (192.168.1.etc.etc or alternatively voyager.home) but IE cannot find the "page".

Is this a fault with the modem (plusnet supplied) or something else?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do now?

Thanks in advance!

Richard

When you have entered the IP address, did you put in the http:// bit?
Have you tried using a wired connection to connect to it?

H there,

Thanks for the reply!

I entered the PI address with and without the http:// bit, but to no avail!

I have not tried connecting to the BTVoyager 2100 with a network cable yet (all attempts so far have been wireless), do you think this will help (if so why).

Thanks!

They seem to log in OK on this guide
Are they doing anything you are not?

I can't give you a specific reason why, but I have had issues occasionally with a Netgear router where I could only connect via a cable.
I've never been able to find out why though :?:

Hi there gpattison!!

Thanks for that guide, but our problem is that upon typing in the http://192.168.1.1 IE never find the Configuration screen!

Cry

Could this be a problem with the hardware do you think or a configuration problem with the wireless adaptorHuh

I just wondered if the caveat:
I'm adding a note here. You need to be plugged into the usb port on your router, to be able to change the settings in your router!!!!
was relevant. to you.

I don't have that router, so can't really add anything else.
The only time mine didn't connect, I'd put commas instead of points between the numbers

Shockedops:
