2.4GHz TV sender & WI-Fi conflicts?

Does anyone have experience of using a TV/Video sender and a wireless network simultaneously?

From what I can find on the web, most people (but not all) say that the two are incompatible as they share the 2.4GHz frequency and interfere with each other. I know that there are 5.8GHz available models in the US but does anyone know of one in the UK?

Alternatively, is there a way to make a Netgear DG 834PN recognise a video sender and route it? I mean, effectively treat the sender as a device with a MAC address just like the computers on the network.

They do use the same frequency but if you set the channels as far apart as you can and dont have them close to each other they should be fine. They can be fun as the woman down the street when she changes her tv it changes the woman across the road as well.

Thanks for that - I did find a review of a product which the guy said the same as you http://www.automatedhome.co.uk/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=808> http://www.automatedhome.co.uk/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=808 so I think I'll take the chance and get something similar.
