Well, Pete beat me by 2 minutes to volunteer to edit yesterday's End of Day, so it falls to me to do todays. It must be nice to be back to normal weeks now that the festivities are over... I'll find that out next week! Web Dev today has been mostly working on the Business Product Refresh, although Pete has been busy fighting off the start of Man Flu and writing an email, Duffy's gone home with Man Flu and Kelly has been missing from his desk (hopefully not because everyone else feels ill!). So far, I've managed to avoid it but have got stuck in to some problem fixing now that our festive code freeze has been lifted. I predict more of the same tomorrow, from everyone. Faults with Steve have the following update:
Good afternoon all, here's whats happening in the faults team today. Tony Today I've been doing the retest tickets mainly for those customers getting back to us with a visit to the dentist in between and some home phone issues. Keith Most of today i have been nailing Logged Faults speed and no sync with BT. Brad Logged intermittent and some internal training. Alex Been doing logged no sync faults with BT with a nice session of training to break up the day. Pete S Today i have been actionning the Jeopardy report and retest tickets that customers have responded to, broken up the day with an internal interview for a quality analyst. Rich Quite a few home phone tickets of various types, some escalations, some LLU issues, then actionning the oldest issues. Tom I have been putting together a best practice for home phone faults and also to document ways to improve the logged faults process that's about it Me (Steve) Been doing all the initial testing for faults raised on our website, making sure the customers have been setting up the equipment and routers properly and where necessary raising it for the attention of BT.
Looks like it's a quiet night tonight... oh, no Matt from Comms gets a last minute entry with:
Chris is back. Bob was grumpier. We had KFC, and did some work. Here [ Link ] is a random link. We are still teh r0x0rz. That is all.
Hmm, not sure that was worth waiting for after all... but it does probably sum up the Comms Team's day. I guess that's the End of Day then... time to think about heading home and trying to print a couple of photographs out to see how they go. Colin
