xp-600 wireless connection

Hi
I have a Technicolor 582n router having just switched to plusnet. I can't get the computer to connect  and  print wirelessly on the epson xp-600 printer despite both computer and printer both connected to the network
I have removed the pritner as a device from the computer and tried to re-install using the software disk but it also fails at the final stage stating that the computer can't connect with the printer.
Help!

The wireless printer will have an address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx as will the router.
The first three xxx's must be identical throughout your home network.
The fourth xxx must be unique for each device.
