wireless connection

We have a Belkin 54g router.
I have a laptop with Mac 0S X 10.3.9
My partner has a laptop with Windows XP.
My Mac works like a dream from the router - my partner's does not.  Hers is a Toshiba Satellite Pro, wireless enabled (what isn't these days).
Have been thru all the bumpf and followed instructions implicitly, been on the Belkin website and done the same - still no joy!
Any suggestions please?

Re: wireless connection

Assume you have checked case sensitivity on the password and that you don't have mac address filtering switched on?
You could try briefly switching off all the wireless security and seeing is the laptop will attach then, if it does you know it must be a password type issues.
If you have SSID broadcast disabled and laptop runs Vista see Poppy's thread about that.. http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,67690.0.html

Re: wireless connection

Can the laptop see the connection ok? What happens when you try to connect ie any error message. What O/S are you running. What security have you got on the laptop and router
