wifi not working

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone can help with my question. Basically for the past week my WiFi has been playing up the devices connect to WiFi in the room where the router is but anywhere else in the house it doesn't connect. Anyone got any suggestions?

Does your router or access point have external aerial(s) & is it lying horizontally (or not)?

No it doesn't have an aerial and it is lying horizontally

I've tried everything in that guide harryb unfortunately nothing has worked. I've ordered a new router from plusnet hoping it should solve the problem. If not then am going to have to get some advice from experienced people. Cheers for the advice anyways
