what's the difference ....?

I am trying to decide between 2 Samsung laptops but the problem is i cant tell what the difference is.....can anyone help me please?
The 2 models are the Samsung chronos NP780Z5E-T01UK and Samsung Ativ 6 NP680Z5E-X01UK. One is black, one silver, one has 8.5 hour battery, the other 9-10 hour battery, other than that, im lost! I am guessing a series 7 is newer, but could be wrong, as the ativ 6 is slightly more exoensive,th processor etc are all the same.

There is one big and obvious difference - the screen resolution and type
The 7 series has 15.6" SuperBright 300nit FHD LED Display (1920 x 1080) with Touch Screeen Panel
The 6 series has 15.6" HD LED Display (1366 x 768) with Touch Screen Panel

Thanks oldjim, I saw they were both HD but didn't understand the difference, now you pointed it out and I've done some more reading, it's 'clearer' to me ..... 'clearer'...get it! Lol
It's the most annoying thing searching for new laptop on a tiny tablet, or my tiny phone screen,I look at one, then look at another and forget what it said....I  wish these things could print, so I could put the laptops side by side!
If screen is the big difference, I guess the.chronos would be the better choice,
