upgrading to wireless broadband

I currently use a BT voyager 205 ADSL router supplied by PlusNet. Am thinking of buying my own wireless router. Can i simply replace my 205 router for a wireless one, do the setup myself and thats it, or do Plusnet need to do anything their end to enable wireless to work. Is there an extra charge for using a wireless netork at home. I have an Apple powerbook G4 running Mac OSX 10.4.10.

Re: upgrading to wireless broadband

All up to you - PlusNet don't need or want to know unlike some ISP's such as AOL who used to ban the use of routers with a home network

Re: upgrading to wireless broadband

my speedtouch 716wlv5 is wireless locking it down is very easy their an ssid code and a wpa code on the bottom of the router so you dont need to rememeber it and you dont lose it.
Go for the speedtouch newer 780 and get 2 voip ports to make 240 voip telephone calls with free every month (dep which account)
