unlocking my bt voyager 210

Hello, I have been trying to unlock my bt voyager 210 router for any ISP. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Didn't know they ever were locked. Where did you get it?

Xcatreturns. I didn't know either  :D. Apparently it's fairly straightforward to upgrade the firmware but I need to know if there is a way I can unlock it via my plusnet connection or do I need to find someone with bt broadband?

The voyager 210 router I bought is locked to BT broadband.

Can you be more specific?
Have you logged on to it as admin?

The internet connection configuration needed some tweaking, but it did work eventually.

For reference (after you have upgraded firmware):
Select [Advanced] from the left menu
Select [Advanced] link at middle
Click [Internet] from the left menu
Click [Edit] (Pencil Icon) on right side
If not already set VPI number to 0
If not already set VCI number to 38
Click [Next]
[Select] Protocol: PPP over ATM (PPPoA): Encapsulation Type: VC MUX
Click [Next] 3 times
Click [Apply]
Click [Finish]
Restart computer to complete.
