thomson router tg585v7 password?

I try to log into the router and type in Admin or Administrator for the username and leave the password blank but it won’t let me log on!?
Does anyone know the username and password for this router? If not how do i reset the password?  I have reset the router with no luck and have entered the SN as my password still no luck

Assuming the router is one recently supplied by Plusnet the router username should be admin with a lower case A, and the password the serial number excluding the part in brackets.

Should be located on a sticker inside the box if its a new one
(or on the bottom of the router)
