I have suddenly started getting a box appearing regularly on screen marked error - and saying "warning. Cannnot find flash ocx "
Does anyone know why or what that is?

1)Could say its a man,
2) flash is a video player that you normally have you download, do you have it on your machine, it has been upgraded in the last week

when I got a message on screen last week about upgrade I accepted that - so is it something to do with that?

I will have to get my fingers coordinated.
I haven't had any problems since upgrade, I have two machines, Win98 and XP, both are OK

Just done a google search, it suggests it might be a registry error, there is a non macromedia scan and fix program, but I would like to use a genuine macromedia program for that

Thanks Pierre for mentioning Google. I did a search for flash ocx and found a helplne website that said because I had a third party screen-saver which used flash it was looking for the flash.ocx whereas due to update it was now flash9.ocx.
so very carefully I followed the instructions it gave and so hope now I do not get error message back!
