signal break every 8 min.

Hi guys n gals. I'm new on any forum and the guys at plusnet don't have a clue what's going on. I've recently moved and my router, over the last week, resets itself every 8 to 10 min. We don't have fibre any more and it seems to be more frequent when the computer and the ps3 are on at the same time. I've been told it could be my nat address which I need to change from 2 to 3 but I don't know how to do this, any help would be great cuss I might have to cancel my  contract and go back to virgin.

Re: signal break every 8 min.

Does your router physically reset ? I.e. do the lights cycle and it loses sync ?
If it does then try listening to the telephone when it does this - dial 17070 and select the quiet line test.

Re: signal break every 8 min.

Do you have more than one telephone socket and if so is there anything plugged in to another socket?
