router and sonos play 1 drop out
Have recently installed Sonos play 1 speakers but though initially they play via the Sonos controller on my laptop, the next time I find the controller cannot find them. the only solution is to turn off the router and restart. Sonos have looked at my system remotely and say that the router - Thomson TG 585 v8- is not good enough (" it appears that your Router has an issue with the DHCP server, which is in charge of assigning IP addresses"). They suggest I get a better router. Are the ones currently supplied by PlusNet up to the job or do I need to get one elsewhere? Any suggestions appreciated.

I had a similar problem with my Sonos 1 when I had my old Linksys router.
I now have the PlusNet Hub One and it has worked flawlessly since I changed so that maybe your best bet.
