problem accessing domains ending in .uk

Just last night all of a sudden I am unable to access any domains ending in .uk. I can access other websites so I don't have a connection problem. Can anyone help, or is it due to the network maintenance going on at night. I thought that was supposed to end at 6am, but I am still unable to access these sites.
