In my virus log I have this "HTTP Nukesploit P4ck Activity" which seems to be getting blocked so I reckon no harm done but, my question is this. Is this a virus on my computer trying to get out or the other way round. That is a nasty pile of code has got into my computer and in attempting to communicate with its master over the internet.
Secondly, just about everytime I connect to the internet my virus says a recent attack was blocked from, ahem China www.krottorot.cn
I have now switched my plusnet firewall on but this still gets through, do I need to block this if so how.
thanks

Have a look at http://www.symantec.com/business/security_response/attacksignatures/detail.jsp?asid=23363
This suggests an issue with Internet Explorer 6.
If it were me, I would -
1. follow the Symantec instructions as described to remove the problem.
2. reboot PC and perform a full system scan to ensure no other problems.
3. perform a full Windows Update using the Custom option.
4. change the default web browser to the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.
