plusnet protect serial number

I am trying to install plusnet protect through the email link provided by plusnet on my windows 10 pc. Each time I insert the serial number provided, MacAfee tell me the number has already been used, reinstall and try again. 9 times later I am bored with doing this. I have previously used BT net protect, also by MacAfee, and have used the MacAfee tool to uninstall this. Any thoughts on what is going on?

 

2nd question, will PlusNet protect work on a Mac

Remove Mcafee its not so good , plenty of better ones that are free !

... Including Windows Defender which comes bundled with Windows 10 and should kick-in in the absence of any other security software installed.  No regular contributor here has any affection for McAfee so this isn't a good place to get specific answers about it.

Notwithstanding, Plusnet Protect will not work on a Mac.
