phpmyadmin login error 1045

Just when I thought, 'great, I have sorted out everything for the test starting Wednesday after months of hard work' I find that I cannot login to myphpadmin all off a sudden.

I tried to login making sure I have keyed in the correct ID and PW many times. I even restarted my computer and tried again.

Then I changed my password and tried nothing.

I have attached here the screenshot of the error message.

I have also asked the plusnet to raise a ticked but they said it will take at least three working days, which is too late.

I have started getting this same message today. Last time I logged on was 2-3 days ago, and it was fine. Changing password etc does not help.

I tried to raise a support ticket, but can't see this option any more. Perhaps I'll have to call them tomorrow

I'm considering uninstalling phpmyadmin from the control panel, then reinstalling it. However I'm not sure what files will be removed and am concerned that I might lost something that I need.

Issue raise by telephone a week ago. They'll get back to me.

After waiting 2 weeks for PlusNet tech support to contact me, I fiddled about some more. And found a fix.

* Go into MySQLManager, which is the database manager

* Click your user id at the top, and put in your database password. Don't hit Login, instead change the password and hit Apply. This changes the password

* PHPMyAdmin now logs on OK!

* You can change the database password back afterwards
