Can anybody recommend a converter to convert opd (open office power point) to ppt (Microsoft office powerpoint). That works!
I've googled converters come up with a list that more or less do everything but convert, sometimes only the first slide gets converted.
(wasted a day on it, should have asked here first)

@oldjim, I don't have open office, somebody has just emailed me 20+ opd files, all I wanted was quickly convert them.
Thought it would run into 100 of MBs, looks like OpenOffice is only 37MB, so will download

37MB doesn't sound like the full program, are you sure it's not just the language pack installation? It should be more than 100MB and less than 200MB. Libre is probably better as I don't know what's happened to open office now (Apache?).
That's RPM to you!!

just checked the size of my copy of Open Office.org 3.3 on Absolute Uninstaller,..... it says 365.9 MB
as HB says... it will be quicker to download and install it... (certainly quicker than all day ! ! ) . it is FREEEEEE.... and then you won`t have to worry about people sending you files you have to spend all day looking for conversion stuff.!
