o2 Modem

Can anyone tell if I can replace my Thompson modem supplied by Plusnet, with a modem I still have when I was with o2 ?
I'm have some problems with my Plusnet modem dropping the line & wanted to replace it with the o2 to check if the fault is the modem or line.
I've been with Plusnet 6 months and it's just started to occur.

Hi, providing it's ADSL compatible and not locked down to o2's service (which I don't think they do) it should be fine.
Always a good idea to rule out the hardware one way or another way when there's an issue with the service.
