nice metallic keyboard

Hi
I have a nice Logitech keyboard but it has all the plastic bits underneath the keys to damp the vibration of the switches.
I can get up a really good speed and rhythm on the metallic keybiards of old, does anybody know where I can buy a new keyboard with that type of feeling to it?
I ask as I'm doing a cisco course next year and of course router config requires the use of CLI.

i presume you mean a buckling-spring keyboard like the IBM Model M ?
Keep your eye on eBay or google "clicky keyboard"
A Model M lasts "forever" and even a 25-year-old example would give you all the service you're likely to ever need.
Unused ones come up from time to time on eBay ... which is what I'm typing this with. Be prepared to fork out though.

My typing tends to be more accurate on those too, why the heck did they decide to make soft keyboards

Maybe i'll borrow one from work and put it on ebay just for you 😉
I hate them myself and the noise when there are a few of your typing away on them is awful.

Have a couple at work but they have seen better days and are probably a public health hazard if you know what I mean.
Good job you don't work with me then adiewoo as do hit the keys quite hard.
