need help setting up TP-Link TD-W9980 router

Hello guys,
i recently upgraded my broadband upto unlimited fibre extra and i am having a slight little problem my service has gone live today but my router wont connect.
I've followed the set up wizard and entered my details but the router will not connect the router is deffo VDSL enabled its a tp-link TD-W9980 if anyone has the same router could you please help would really appreciate the help. thanks x

OK first things what firmware version do you have?
If it is a recent one then PN will be in the setup wizard
Just run the wizard (quick setup) and select xDSL
then select VDSL_Plusnet
enter your user name & password (username@plusdsl.net)
That should be it.
If you aren't on the latest firmware then do the same but also set up the VPI to 101

the router has VDSL_plusnet already on it I've tried through quick setup and the setting you've suggested and I get nothing just says DSL Disconnected but if it try running my internet on ADSL its absolutly fine.

ah never mind. everything is fine they sent me an email saying my broadband is live now but just got in contact and told me i dont go live till the 29th March maybe that why i can't connect.
