I have mp3 files (sermons) for which the links work under firefox and Safari but in IE they return "cannot display the webpage"
Obvioulsy I wish this to work under all browsers but I can't see what I need to change. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Opened fine here - using Nero Quicktime
As a side issue it seems a very big file for a sermon - can't you reduce the bit rate
I haven't checked the website but it doesn't appear to be set up for streaming only for a file download.
This is what I see in IE8

I haven't got a copy of IE to check (running Linux) but have you checked that Windows Media Player (or your player of choice) is the default application? It is in something like Control Panel - Programs (Vista) or Add/Remove Programs (XP), then choose Default programs. Check WMP is set to play MP3 files.

FWIW it streams for me in Epiphany (and Iceweasel).
