Re: leaving plusnet when my contract ends

If you decide, at the end of your contract, to leave us, you can do so either by;
- Writing to us to advise us of your intention to cancel/migrate the service. Our address is: Plusnet, The Balance, 2 Pinfold Street, Sheffield S1 2GU
- You can call us on 0845 140 6002 or 0330 123 9197 (Monday to Friday: 9.00am - 8.00pm (Except Bank Holidays) & Saturday: 9.00am - 5.30pm)
I hope this helps.

If you migrate to another provider, you won't have to pay any cancellation/cessation charges. If you cancel your broadband totally you will have to pay the cessation charge which is around £30 if I remember rightly.

Re: leaving plusnet when my contract ends

As long as it's still a BT based provider then you just need to ask for a MAC code (requires contacting 'customer options') that should be the first thing to do anyway so call 0845 140 6002 or 0330 123 9197 (not 24/7).

Re: leaving plusnet when my contract ends

@Jason
May I ask why you want to migrate to StalkStalk
I know PN have got some issue(s) of late & I sure hope that PN will soon iron them out
However
As many Ex TT customers including myself have learned from experience that they are not worth the hassle
Example
TT could not fix a line fault / as soon as PN took over in December the line fault magically disappeared
They claim I still owe them money & have also sent me 2 standard in contract bills for February & now March & I am no longer contracted to them
I wish to help spare you from their corrupted way(s)

Re: leaving plusnet when my contract ends

In the price range, Plusnet is still probably the best.  AAISP have a pretty good reputation but their prices reflect this, Zen Internet still have a fair reputation but are not without complaints.

Re: leaving plusnet when my contract ends

What is wrong with Plusnet ? They bent over backwards getting your faulty line sorted and your speeds back up.
I suspect that with the time they spent on it, you could easily spend another year with them before they made a penny profit out of you.
