Can anyone help please?
A week ago I purchased Canon MG5750 printer. Even though the Plus Net hub manager lists both it and my Lenovo laptop as connected to wifi 2.4GHz (set as WPA2 only) the printer driver iset up wizard won't find the printer. I then tried using Windows 10 'Add a printer' which also didn't find it, but I added it by entering printer IP address - printer is now listed in My Devices but when trying to print just produces error message and Windows troubleshooter can't fix it. I did manage to get my PC to talk to the printer (I'm not sure how), albeit when printing it usually has error message!
I have wifi extender as Plus Net internet speeds can drop off, but laptop and printer seem to be connected to main LAN.

@Bluefergie Welcome to the forum.
Where did you get the Printer IP address from and what is it? Normally the IP address is assigned by the router.

I've always found seting up a printer by usb first easier, then you can add the wireless details in the wizard afterwards.

I used the printer's IP address listed under Plusnet hub manager.

Thanks for your reply but the printer works when connected by USB but not wireless.

Why sell wireless printers at all?
It's not like they are excessively mobile devices!

@VileReynard Because sometimes it's a little inconvenient to have the printer next to the computer?

@Bluefergie Silly question maybe, but did you follow the 'wireless set-up guide' in the printer instructions?

Yep, exactly. Printer connects to LAN no problem. It's just that the laptop won't find it for some reason.

Have you tried downloading the latest drivers from Canon's website onto the laptop?
I don't have a hub one, but is it possible that it is isolating wireless clients from each other? Can you access any other wireless devices from the laptop?
Third thought. Is one device connecting to 2.4Ghz and the other to 5Ghz. it's possible that the hub one doesn't bridge the two networks.
