internet explorer title page

I changed ISP from Adept to Plusnet in March (or thereabouts) 2008. Ever since the Explorer title page shows, in the very top line, Angry (where the minimise/maximise/exit icons are) the following:-
Microsoft Internet Explorer powered by Adept Internet
That doesn't cause me any problem but I don't see why Adept should 'apparently' be getting the credit for supplying my broadband.
Does anyone know how to change this top line?Huh

Re: internet explorer title page

That must be really irritating - it's like having your computer invaded!
Anyway, hope that you get it removed with the instructions.
Dare I mention Firefox 3.5? If you aren't using it give it a go - brilliant. I haven't used IE in years.

Re: internet explorer title page

If you don't feel happy about manually modifying the registry to get rid of the ISP name there are many utilities out there that will do it -- changed mine long ago using tuneup utilities (free version available on www.v3.co.uk/downloads) on my home pc to 'Internet Exploder' .... went firefox long time back here
