iPlayer showing as Offline

Downloaded Dr Who (HD) on Saturday and had one other series' episode to download.
Started iPlayer Desktop app this evening and no sight of either. Can't access preverences, Live Radio or Live TV.
Offline showing at the bottom and 'Get more prgrammes' does nothing.
If I close the app it will not run again till I select 'End process' in Task Manager.
Dr who is definitely on the HDD in folder BBC iPlayer\repository\b014j7pq_4000_2500 but won't play directly in WMPlayer (I thought downloaded programmes used to?

I don't know about "Dr Who", but I just started my iPlayer to see if I had this problem too, but it all seems to be working, including preferences, live TV, etc  Huh

Re: iPlayer showing as Offline

Thanks purleigh.
Rebooted PC but no change.
In fact, nothing I click on responds, Now playing, Coming soon, T & C, etc.
I suppose I'll just have to uninstall and re-install. Bet that means I'll have to re-download Dr Who Sad

Re: iPlayer showing as Offline

I am VERY disappointed at how unstable the iPlayer program is.  Angry
Fortunately at the moment mine seems to be OK, but every so often when the BBC force a version update or there is yet another change to AdobeAir, I have to re-install iPlayer maybe 30 or 40 times before it succeeds, wasting many frustrating hours !  Cry
Good luck  Huh

Re: iPlayer showing as Offline

No idea if it affects the desktop IPlayer but the online streams now require Flashplayer 10.3 and higher to work, which broke them working with Opera
