Puzzled by the large size of my incremental backup points, I found that iPlayer was failing to delete old programmes from their folder : My Docs/My videos/BBCiPlayer/Repository. Files in Repository totalled over 70GB!
Until this problem is fixed, the workaround is :-
Do NOT delete programmes immediately after you've watched them.
After you've finished with iPlayer for the day, close it and also close it from the System Tray.
Start iPlayer Desktop
Delete the required programmes
Close iPlayer
