iPad to PC transfer?

A friend has some photos/information on her iPad that I would like on my laptop which uses W7.  Other than attaching it to emails which would take for ever, can you transfer stuff easily from iPad to PC?
I just wonder if using a pen drive would be difficult due to different systems?

[if this query is in wrong thread sorry!]

Re: iPad to PC transfer?

Can you transfer the items using Bluetooth or Wifi, I think for the Wifi options you need to find a client for the iPad which supports 'WebDAV'.

I don't think iPads have a USB port, so nowhere to plug it in!

Re: iPad to PC transfer?

I cant say with 100% certainty, but I dont think the iPad will allow that without being jailbroken.

It would appear there's an app for that Grin http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photo-transfer-app/id365152940?mt=8
or if you want a general purpose file transfer there's an app for that as well  Grin http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/filebrowser-access-files-on/id364738545?mt=8

Re: iPad to PC transfer?

Not really, but WebDAV is close, its uses simple POST/GET commands from HTML.
Go to the AppStore, and type 'WebDAV client' there are a few free Apps listed which will do what you want.
