iPad resolution

Is it possible to change the screen resolution on a iPad Air (3rd generation) ?

Looking at answers on the internet it does not seem possible....the question relates to another post in a different section of the forum on feedback tab.

Re: iPad resolution

@gleneagles It certainly isn't possible on a 'normal' iPad, and I don't think it will be on the Air - these things seem to be 'fixed' on Apples portable devices. What size screen do you have, out of interest?

Re: iPad resolution

As you said you can't change them as they are indeed fixed. So this means that the HTML / CSS used to display this side tab needs updating to take these various screen sizes into consideration.

A screen capture from your device @gleneagles would be of benefit to anyone in Plusnet capable of doing a fix. For my iPad Air 2 I touch the home (fingerprint) button then pressed top (power) button.

Re: iPad resolution

@gleneagles , @Mook I checked my iPad earlier - see my response in the other post - and that tab doesn't obscure anything - it just annoys me.

Re: iPad resolution

I understand that, @Mook , but I can't think of a logical explanation.😖

EdiT: @gleneagles can you not scroll away from that tab and then hit reply?

Re: iPad resolution

Fair enough I can scroll past it but as you move up or down on to another page it tends to scroll up with the page.

Its just a nuisance rather than a major issue

I think the size of my screen is 9.7 or thereabouts.

Re: iPad resolution

Would changing the browser zoom level make a difference?
