how to check latest firmware

Hi All new to all this but I hope I am in the right area ?

Can anyone please tell me how to check to see if my router has the  latest firmware installed

My router is a tg582n.

Used your link but unfortunately no page found.
I still am unaware how to check this and Plusnet help just sent me a different router which is keeping my anti-virus software quiet.
