any one else having google chuck the auto search terms box up in the left like below, its so getting on me thingymejigs as it dosent go away and have to keep shuting the tab down when it happens.
edit. this happens after ive done the search

(Googled with Konqueror on FreeBSD and Midori on Debian)

I am on straight Firefox and Win 7, no problem

Tried Vista and 7, IE8, Mozilla and Chrome. No problems here.

Firefox 3.5.9 & XP Home - no problem here Asbo. What have you done?

Is that the famous "google tool bar"...... and have you installed the famous " google search box" to your toolbar? 
perhaps if you removed both, and stuck with the FF or IE toolbars, you would not have the problem..... also you will have a few more lines of viewing space on your screen.....!

left hand tool bar with the search results just appeared i think about a week or 2 ago.
ive not installed any google add ons and the GF no's not to install nothing with out my say so, so i thought this was just somthing google had auto added.

ok, seems to be the left hand bar options that throw this bug into action on vista ie8
i dont normaly use IE ive been using FF but the GF seems to think IE is better and when i muscle my way back on the living room machine IE seems to allways be open and i end up using it.
asbo searchs for the uninstall button
