fscked twice this week.

Hi
I've had to run fsck twice this week to clear inodes and other such stuff. Is this an indication that my hard drive is about to quit?
Cheers

Sounds like it to me.
I found out that one mine was on the way out, when tripwire started showing that random files where changing.

Yes, I think your hard drive is dropping hints that all is not well.
Making sure data backups are up to date, and keeping them so, would be a good idea at this point.

Re: fscked twice this week.

I was checking details on "dd" to create a clone of my hard disk, and got reminded of "dd_rescue"
