error message on startup error -5009 : 0x800703ee while running the setup

Hi,
I`m getting an error message on start up. It started a couple of days ago (been trying to sort a problem with a USB Flip Mino posted question in hardware group)
The error message is :
error -5009 : 0x800703ee while running the setup
Error code -5009
any idea how to get rid of it. I`m using WinXP Pro with all updates on

Download startupcpl free from
http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml
It will show whats is running on startup there will be something related to you Mino trying to install untick it to stop it. Its part of your failed software install

"The 0x800703EE error normally indicates that one or more files have either
been altered, have been lost, or are corrupted so that they cannot be
opened or cannot be read once open.
This could mean file corruption on your system, or that your AV software
is preventing reading of the file, or that some other 3rd party
application is interfering.
As a start I'd recommend you close all applications, do a full "Scan for
errors" on the drive you are using, and of course a full anti-virus and
malware scan.
If the problem persists, try to determine what file is causing the
problem. You may be able to get clues for this in the WindowsUpdate.LOG
file located in your Windows folder ....."
See also further down the thread, someone got this error with a corrupt cdm.dll file.
Try a restore installation?

Did you find anything in the startup that shows a failed install? You can try deleting all the files in your temp dir as often this is the problem but you need to find what i tis thats running at startup and stop it
