error 12227

So far it has only been emails from one source that are affected but I would like to know how to deal with those that cause an Alert as per attached image. What is cause of the Alert. which among other things appears to corrupt parts of the message, probably links of some sort, with red dots.
Is this something specific to emails from one source.
I use Thunderbird, if that is of relevance.
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Re: error 12227

It's a problem at the server side if I'm not mistaken as opposed to an issue with Thunderbird. I'd contact the owner of the server in question and see what they have to say.
