epson sx400 printer/scanner

I have the above printer works okay for what I print mainly colour photos,
I have a problem getting 250gsm photo paper to go threw the unit,
it works perfect on 220gsm photo paper
it has on very odd occasions taken in the 250 paper, usually kicks it back and paper error comes up.
a pity as I have a large pack of this very nice photo paper
settings on A4, Best Photo , Epson ultra glossy.
it will take in card of250gsm on matt or plain setting
Any Ideas

Does it have a paper thickness lever ?
