am on dial-up so would be pleased to know how long avg anti virus takes . halp fed up with norton 360 thanks firefly2

The installer .exe I currently have from a week or so back is about 30MB and after install it may download several MBs of program and pattern file updates.
How long this will take to download on a 56K connection I have no idea as I last used such a connection 7 years ago!

If you use flashget to download it, not only can you pause/resume the download, it will show you the estimated time until it finishes the download.

Thank-you everyone for the help re downloading. Norton is okay currently after re-installing. will have to review re dial-up as it is pathetic really. firefly2
