Re: cookies

assuming you are using IE7 go to Tools, Internet Options, General then click on Settings under Browsing History and you will get something like this picture
Click on View Files and you will see all the cookies
I am not sure how to block or unblock sites but if, under Internet Options, you click on Privacy do you see something like this (second picture)

Re: cookies

thankyou both..
did what you said Oldjim and it told me that I had over the limit of 1024... [of allsorts]
so have reduced them as suggested.
thanks again. perhaps that is what may have slowed the pc down ...
expect it is stocked with loads that I could get rid of.  Smiley

Re: cookies

Wot a lot of cookies Firefly. If you download CCleaner it will ditch the lot and your computer's waistline will be all the thinner for it!

Re: cookies

Just checked in CCleaner and in the options section you can elect to keep the cookies that you wish to retain - looks quite easy to do.
I just usually clear the lot at the end of the day.

you get oddy cookies, like the PN speedtest remembers its history in a cookie, and some logons are also in cookies, the ones to get rid of are the advert ones Cool
