blue screen 2057--aahhhh!

Hi Peeps,
for last few weeks, everytime I try and put my laptop in hibernate/hybrid sleep, when it comes back on I get the same message 'Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown and blue screen 2057' plus lots of other info that means nothing to me!?  when I go to put the laptop in hibernate it starts to do it, I get the 'hibernating' on the screen for ages, but I think it then takes so long it shuts down instead!  the link to microsoft doesn't give me any help at all, and I can't really understand what the internet says about it!  I was hoping someone could kindly point me to where I might be able to fix the error - or tell me if I need to recover my system!
I use hibernate a lot, so really am getting frustrated of what 'shut down'  Huh
I have done run Vaio check up and it said it needed to do a defrag, disk clean, registry defrag, I have let it do them with no success!
below I have pasted what i see included in the pop up error screen, attached is the pop up it appears in
for reference I am using vaio laptop, win 7 64bit.
Many thanks for any generously shared advice Kiss

Re: blue screen 2057--aahhhh!

One idea to try is run Disk Cleanup and select to delete the hibernation file. Then re-enable hibernation in the power control panel. It might work.  Huh
That's RPM to you!!

Re: blue screen 2057--aahhhh!

Thanks for the advice, only problem being I can't find where to do that. :-[. i
I am presuming I open the windows diskclean, but the list of 'things' to delete don't show a hibernation file to delete.
I've pasted what I do see in the window.
I have looked at the Vaio care option as that gives me a disk clean as well, but can't see an option for deleting that through viao,
Can I be really cheeky and ask if you can point to me to where I find delete hibernation file delete option please! Cheesy
thanks

Re: blue screen 2057--aahhhh!

PS. I think locale id 2057 just refers to the system language being set for United Kingdom English, it does not identify the cause of the blue screen crash.

Also worth downloading tssdkiller or similar and double check there aren't any rootkit viruses on your machine (normal antivirus apps won't normally find these).

Re: blue screen 2057--aahhhh!

As you are using Windows 7 you need to follow a slightly different route http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/819-hibernate-enable-disable.html and will need to enable it afterwards otherwise hibernate won't work
