bbc desktop player released

Just to edit in that I am talking about BBC Desktop.....
I have been downloading using Desktop for a week now. The only problem I have is that if I try to get the small size file using More Downloads (the Windows Media Player version) it wont let me do it making making for lengthier download times (I dont notice the new bitrate giving a better quality picture). I am told that I may not be licensed for DRM (is it?) downloads and am restricted in my WMP use. I am a bit baffled. I have IE8. Never had trouble downloading these files before.

Wouldn't that be off-topic then? Tongue

What version of WMP are you using?

Re: bbc desktop player released

Bob. My memory says I updated WMP to 11 fairly recently.

Re: bbc desktop player released

Use get_iplayer.
No DRM and doesn't use Windows Manky Player.
