I was on Youview's trial, though.
They couldn't make it work properly.
The box was ultimately thrown in the bin.

The latest Youview box comes out pretty well in the reviews I've seen, getting 4 or 4.5/5.
There are always going to be firmware issues. I don't think I've ever not had issues with my Sky boxes!

Yes - quite a while.
I replaced it with a (cheaper) Panasonic - I've never had to "reboot" or knowingly install new firmware.

Yeah, but the Humax Youview box has been the most problematic PVR I have ever owned.

Hi, sorry we have been a bit tardy in keeping you updated. We have been sorting out some provisioning kinks at our end before putting further trialists onto the service which has just taken a little longer than we anticpated. Those issues are due to be resolved very soon (today hopefully) so I would expect the hardware will be with you by the middle of next week at the latest. thanks for remaining interested in supporting us on the trial though even in the absence of the updates from us.
