So I read this today: http://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2015/04/uk-isp-plusnet-confirms-youview-based-tv-product-to-lau...
Any news on a date?  I went to the link in the article to register my interest but couldn't find where I need to fill a form in.

If you're on the right package then there should be an advert on the member centre. Clicking it raises a ticket

Re: YouView "Coming Soon"?

Predictably as soon as I posted this thread I saw the banner and the other thread - ooops.
Thanks for the heads up.
Am hoping that I don't have to purchase another box as I have one from when I was with BT!

Re: YouView "Coming Soon"?

Will people like me who already own a Youview box get any benefit from this when it launches?

I suspect the software/firmware will be different.

Re: YouView "Coming Soon"?

So I have just ordered it.  Recontracted for 24 months (eek!) but got a good deal!
Annoyingly, the boxes are allegedly preconfigured so I cannot use my current YouView box from BT.
I had to pay £50 for TV activation and £7.99 for delivery.  I opted for the HD add on (although 3 channels are not available in HD currently).  So it is an extra £8 a month on top of the fibre/telephone.
A good deal I think.

Re: YouView "Coming Soon"?

Does anyone know if you use this service with an existing Humax Youview box?
